Kirsti shares about the pressures she faced growing up with a strict gymnastics background. Sara, her twin sister, also has an interesting perspective since she witnessed so much of this pressure. Emily shares how her body struggles didn't hit until she gained weight in college. All three discuss how boys, their families, coaches, and even churches influenced the way they viewed themselves and their bodies. It's such a good one!

In a garden, preparing soil is necessary so that goodness can grow. Similarly, in the parable of the soils in Luke 8, Jesus shares why our "heart soil" is important for growth. Let's apply this teaching to food and body struggles so that we can have open hearts, ready to receive His goodness.

Before we get too deep, let me introduce myself. I'm Amanda! A wife, mom to 2 girls, Christian, and an enneagram 9, 6, or 3 (HELP ME!). I love to learn, create, teach, and DIY just about anything (even when it's not sensical).
I've always had a passion for wellness and movement, but at times it was all-consuming and life-sucking. Now, I have finally found joy AND FREEDOM in my wellness pursuit. It's still a daily battle, but I've got a good Father fighting for and with me... and so do you.
